| Windows 98 - If for some reason you can't locate a file, use the Windows Explorer to search out specific files or folders, or even file formats.
Begin by clicking on the "Start" icon found on the Windows task bar, then click on "Find" and then, "Find Files or Folder" and enter in the parameters of your search. If you can't remember the filename you are looking for, but remember the file format which it was saved as, enter "*.xyz". Where "xyz" represents the file format extension, such as "doc" for MSWord files, "mp3", "jpg", or "tif", you get the idea.
Good luck.
